South Asia

South Asia includes some of the world’s most densely populated countries and is home to more than one-fifth of the global population. The region spans the Himalayan mountain range to the Indian Ocean.

Its economies range from rapidly growing emerging markets to smaller developing states, with strong regional cultural, linguistic, and historical connections.
