How Map Morph Studio Works
Most online maps use the Mercator projection. It is useful for navigation, but it stretches countries more and more as you move away from the equator. This tool overlays countries at corrected scale so you can compare their true relative size and shape on the same map.
Why It Looks Different
Near the poles, Mercator makes land appear much larger than reality. A common example is Greenland, which looks massive compared to its real area.
